I enjoyed your blog on Shawnee Airlines. I flew for Shawnee from 1970-1972 when they folded. Your photos brought back many fond memories. I probably knew your mother as we knew just about everyone in such a small airline. Beers at Boris’s included all employees not just crew. At our peak, we had 6 Beech 99’s, 3 Otters and an F-27 from Mowhawk. Those were the good times. Many pilots were retired military and many of the younger ones went on to enjoy airline careers as I did. Would love to see more photos if you have them. Let me know if you have any questions about anything.
